ring toss at wiggle waggle walkathon 2014

The 25th annual Ottawa Humane Society Wiggle Waggle Walkathon took place on September 7th. It was a beautiful sunny day and over a thousand people made it out to the event. Many brought their dogs, ferrets, and other pets – there was even a miniature horse.

Not only was a great time had by all, but the event raised $220,000 to help fund the OHS’s efforts to save homeless animals in our community. Every year over 11,000 sick, injured or homeless cats, dogs and other pets are rescued and cared for.

DS Plumbing provided pooch watering stations, and we also tried a new ring toss game!

You can learn more about the event and see dozens of photos on the Humane Society’s website and on the Ottawa Citizen.
