We’re excited and pleased to announce that we’ve won an award! On January 30th, Faces Magazine handed out its 2015 Faces Awards. We were nominated for Top Plumbing Company, and thanks to the votes of Ottawans, we’ve won!
For those who don’t know, Faces Magazine is a monthly publication that can be found throughout the city. They promote local businesses and happenings, and every year they hand out awards to local people based on public online votes. Last year they were called the FABIO (Faces and Business in Ottawa) Awards, which is why, we suspect, the award looks so much like Fabio!
This year, they’ve changed the name and added a plumbing category, so it looks like we may be the first ever plumbing company to get one of these. We’re touched and pleasantly surprised!
“We only found out the result on awards night,” Dave Smythe said. “This is a local publication, so we consider this a great honour.”
The office is very excited about the award. It’s a real inspiration to be recognised in such a way by your community, and we’re as committed as ever to offering the best service we can.
We have so many people to thank! But we want to send a special thank you to all the frontline DS Plumbing staff. They are the true representatives of our company, and it’s because of them that we’ve won. And of course we wouldn’t be the company we are without our amazing customers. So, most of all we want to thank you!
